If you are interested in Robert Wade Productions Inc, shoot me an email. For the most up to date info, check out my BLOG on myspace. I will do updates during the two months as well to keep people connected with the process. Corrigan has been hard at work adding merchandise to my Cafe Press site. You can get messenger bags, hats, buttons, mini buttons, baby bibs boxers and much much more. Have fun shopping! You should also check out Corrigan's own Cafe Press Site, to see all the amazing original work that he has posted. He is a great friend and a great artist. 7 January 2006... What a wonderful year. The new year is upon us and I feel as if it will be even better than the last. I am so excited to record the next project and have been very busy getting things in order for it. Song writing has been going really well with all sorts of topics and concepts taking shape in my journal. They then find their voice as I play my guitar. What a wonderful way to communicate. I love music. I am excited to release some new material and have been testing some of it out in live shows (like The Living Room). For the most up to date info, I will be starting a blog on myspace very soon with updates on the project. I will do updates during the two months as well to keep people connected with the process. Our friends, The Clays, were so kind to share Christmas with us this year. We had a wonderful time just existing (one of my favorite past times) with them. Not everyone is good at existing, it is an acquired art that is lost in the speed of life. Some people get so jittery that they have to "DO" something and they can't just hang out. The Clay's are kindred spirits and very easy to "exist" with. Corrigan was so kind to take some pictures of me and help me set up my Cafe Press site. I have been blown away by this crazy site that lets you put together an amazing line of merchandise. What you see to the left is just the beginning. We had a great time shooting in London and Huntingdon, even though it was the coldest I have ever been. I am thrilled every time he sends me a new picture or poster. Keep an eye out for more from Corrigan at the Cafe Press site. I played a gig at The Living Room in Cambridge on December 15th! It was a wonderful time with friends. Phil and the boys from Hope Street Music host a great venue filled with an eclectic group of musicians. My friend Todd did a wonderful job on bass. Thanks so much Todd, it sounded great. Also thanks to I am still having fun on My Space as it grows and grows. It has been a great way to keep in touch with people and to quickly do updates on music and things of that sort. I have had a ton of fun checking out peoples profiles and seeing a different side of many. What a great way to communicate and express yourself. Please add me as a friend if you are set up so I can keep you updated on the next cd project. Lynn Parsons played live once again on her show. Thanks Lynn for all the exposure! I will be sure to get you a copy of the new project as soon as it is out in October. I have had some air time from a few others as well. Please let me know if you are interested in playing any of my tunes. I have really enjoyed watching the podcast phenomenon kick into full gear. I am also really enjoying some of the great video podcasts out there. I have to say one of my favorites is the ever witty Rocketboom. It is so insightful and random and ... you just have to watch it. All that said, I look forward to what lies ahead. I was talking to my wife about the future and "not knowing the full details" the other night. It would be great to know, but where would all the excitement be in that. I have been surprised by the happenings in my life time and time again and I would probably avoided some "mistakes" if I knew they were coming. These "mistakes" have more often than not turned into amazing stories a lessons learned. Don't stop living to avoid the mistakes... |

PUNTING??
Justin's new cd
|
21 October 2005... 2 days before my birthday... 290 days before I record my next cd... 11,313 days that I have been alive... 78 days until the new year... 16 songs almost finished (5 finished)... 1 more song on Lynn Parsons show... 4059 items on my ipod (3917 songs & 103 spoken word)... 2 seasons of Arrested Development on DVD (finished them both)... 100+ times I have visited our new coffee shop... 1 song I wrote with my son about coffee... 42 empty cans of illy in my house (it so hard to throw them away because they are so fun to have around)... 33 friends on My Space... Time can certainly be seen as you add up the numbers that make up your life experience. Things have been crazy, and yet I feel that they are going very well. I can't wait until my next recording project. I am very excited about some of the new songs that have yet to be colored in (just a rough sketch so far). I feel as if my 30's will be my best decade yet. The best out of the three I have been able to experience. Lynn Parsons was kind enough to play "Live" on her 6th show recorded September 15th. What a funny show. I was invited back to The Living Room in Cambridge for their December 15th show. This was a great venue to play last time and I am thrilled to have been invited back. Phil (from Hope Street Music) has also requested to use "live" on a new Tourist Tracks, walking tours of Cambridge, download. I will post a link to that when I get one. Thanks Phil! I have been reading PASTE magazine for a while now. What a great way to learn about new music that you might not get a chance to listen to in the conventional market. Plus you get a cd and a very cool DVD every time you recieve it in the mail. A definite must. I had a chance to spend some time with Justin & Amy McRoberts recently. They played a show locally and we did some punting (at least we tried) in Cambridge. Great couple, great musician, great new CD!! I suggest you check it out. He has a SPACE too. Last, check out Josh Byrd's new cd. I stayed at Josh and Chris Wiegel's house while I was recording in 03. Excited to see he has another project finished. Another SPACE to check out. Ta Ta For Now...

17 August 2005... It has been an eternity since my last update. Five weeks in Italy and 1 in Germany have kept me very busy. Busy is good sometimes, but I am ready for a change of pace. A lot has happened since my last update (new booking agent, new recording project booked, new cd price, new shows booked, new songs written & a ton of exposure on the web and through various podcasts). I LOVE PODCASTS!!! I have had a ton new exposure because of them. You can hear my music on Lynn Parsons, Kingsly's Corner, Bandtrax & Wine Making Radio. It is the new radio. I want to thank all who love the music enough to promote it. Please clink on the links to hear. Also, most of them are available on iTunes (versions 4.9). I loved the Lynn Parsons podcast and hope to hear my music on her wonderful show in the future. Londi Howard is my new booking agent. She is hitting the market hard and we should see tons of new live music opportunities in the future. Thanks Londi!! You can see my future live music dates on the live music page of this web site. Also you can download a complete electronic press kit on that page. I have officially booked the dates to record my next cd with Mitch Dane at Sputnik in Nashville TN. The project starts August 14th 2006 and will be completed by the end of October. I have a large amount of new material and I can't wait to see what happens during the recording process. Due to the future release and digital music sales, I have dropped the price of my cd to $10. Look for it on many of the major digital download sites within a month or two (it takes a while to get it posted). I signed the contract with Starving Artist Pictures for them to use "Monkey Cymbals" in their new independent film "Growing Up Thirty". I will keep you posted when it is released. Thanks for reading. |

all my friends front
all my friends back |
10 may 2005... I am now #2 on Garageband.com. You can't be #1 forever. I was # 1 on the active ACOUSTIC chart & # 1 in the all time ACOUSTIC charts for over 2 months. Because of the exposure "monkey cymbals" will appear in an up and coming independent film. I will link to the films web site so that you can see the trailer and possibly see the show in a theater near you as soon as I get approval to do so. Thanks Garage Band for a great place to be seen. I have a new shirt (as seen on the left) and have also set up a MERCHANDISE page with pics of all the shirts available and a link to where you can buy my cd. There are more to come, so start collecting now before they are hard to get. Slovakia was a great time and I soon shall be in Italy for a month. I am constantly traveling but currently booking for the fall and late summer. Let me know if you would like to book me for a show. I have new PRESS KIT materials for you to download and place all over town if and when you book me. Thanks to the talented Lord Chris O'!! I am planning my next recording project as you read this. I am thrilled to say i will be working with Mitch Dane again. He has produced some amazing things since my last encounter with him and I can't wait to record again. There are all kinds of possibilities in the works and I will let you know how they all develop. It is so much fun to create and be able to watch what i create become something bigger than I could ever imagine. It should be a fun ride until the recording date, so check back for more details. I love to hear from people who are reading this and will do my best to email you back if you have a question or comment. I plan on setting up a web forum soon, but I have no clue how to do that yet. I will let you know when it is up and running and we will see what happens. Thanks for reading this. |
