We were driving home from a month at Windy Gap, North Carolina when I wrote this song. It was a wonderful month, but it was very exhausting and we were ready to be in the comfort of our own home. 45 minutes away from our house, we got a flat tire. Imagine how frustrated we were when we had to completely unload our trunk and put on that little pathetic excuse for a tire we call a spare. The thing that was the most troublesome was the fact that the last 45 minutes turned into almost two hours. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and if you are consumed by your anger, you will miss the reason. Well, we resigned ourselves to the journey that was before us and out came this song.
